Stay cool this summer with a little Brotox !

Do you hate those awful sweat spots under your arms? Botox may have the answer, and more modern men are taking note.

As well as being licensed for softening wrinkles on the forehead, Botox a prescription medicine is medically approved as a treatment for hyperhidrosis, aka excessive sweating, and this is what is proving to be a huge hit for the modern man who wants to stay looking cool when the pressure is on at work.

Hyperhidrosis is a common condition where a person sweats excessively, and much more than the body needs to regulate its temperature.

Excessive sweating doesn't usually pose a serious threat to a person’s health, but it can be embarrassing and distressing. The inconvenience of it can also have a negative impact on your quality of life.

There is no set way of defining excessive sweating, but if sweating is interfering with your daily life and normal activities, you may have Hyperhidrosis.

The treatments take about 15 minutes, are just about painless, and start working within a few days and can last up to six months.  That’s got to be one less thing to sweat about this summer!  Get in touch for your free complimentary consultation with one of our very experienced (sexy) nurse practitioner!

Faux-tox Clinics!

More than five in six people who have had Botox admit to having no idea what exactly was injected into their face, and new figures reveal that more people than ever are seeking help after botched procedures. Many even said they had no idea if the person administering the injection was appropriately trained to perform the procedure.

There has been an alarming 15 per cent rise in the number of patients seeking help following ineffective treatments with non-registered 'faux-tox' clinics. It is amazing to see the number of people in the UK being treated by unqualified practitioners and in less than sterile environments.

At Julia Knightley, treatments are always conducted in a clinical environment, and more importantly by fully trained clinical staff. We feel that each patient understands exactly which product is being injected into their body before consenting to any procedure.
